Sixth Grade Students Embark on Space-Related Educational Trips
Apr 03, 2025
Over Spring Break, sixth grade students took part in one of two space-related educational trips.
One group traveled to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. As part of NASA’s Pathfinder Space Camp, they completed two space missions, various simulations, built model rockets, and learned all about what it takes to become an astronaut.
Another group took a day trip to the Kennedy Space Center, where they toured the Apollo/Saturn V Center, explored the United States Astronaut Hall of Fame, and more.
